SANDBLASTED GLASS, MIXED MEDIA 1980's
Sandblasted glass, sometimes etched with copper and brass, is superimposed over mixed media paintings on board. The paintings and the glasswork respond to one another. Sandblast, the color of the glass, its texture, bubbles and irregularities dialog with the under painting within the light that’s trapped in the space between them: a process that’s visual not verbal.
